Here you can find all the important information on the application and selection process at the chair of Prof. Schwens. The chair is part of the Corporate Development area.

Bachelor Thesis

General Information:

We welcome your interest in writing your thesis at our chair. Our research focus lies on entrepreneurship (e.g. hybrid entrepreneurship, international entrepreneurship, …), innovation and alliances (Competition & Coopetition).

To be eligible to write a thesis at our chair, you must have completed the bachelor seminar in the "Corporate Development" area.

In addition, we recommend students to attend a course on techniques of scientific work in advance. In particular, we point out the following two courses:

Allocation of the bachelor thesis:

Procedure

Students can indicate their own subject preferences. The exact topic of the thesis will be specified and determined together with your assigned supervisor at the chair. Bachelor theses in cooperation with companies are only possible in very rare exceptions.

Master Thesis

General Information:

We welcome your interest in writing your thesis at our chair. Our research focus lies on entrepreneurship (e.g. hybrid entrepreneurship, international entrepreneurship, …), innovation and alliances (Competition & Coopetition).

Students can indicate their own subject preferences. The exact topic of the thesis will be specified and determined together with your assigned supervisor at the chair. In the master’s program, only empirical theses are assigned. Master theses in cooperation with companies are only possible in very rare exceptions.

Procedure:

In case your application at our chair was successful your assigned supervisor will contact you. The exact topic of your thesis will be defined together with your assigned supervisor.
